All Natural Limited Ingredient Soap

From the mountains of northwest Montana, we started Rocky Mountain Traders because we believe labels should be easy to read and we should know what all the ingredients are that go into the products that we use. We use only natural oils that have been proven by time. Instead of dyes we use clays, and instead of fragrance oils we use essential oils from the plants of which the scent is derived. We believe in ingredients that exist in nature, not that are created in a lab. We tell you exactly what ingredients we use, in the order of quantity, never using vague phrases that hide ingredients and fillers such as “colorants, oils, fragrances, dried botanicals, etc.”

What We Believe

Goat’s milk contains caprylic triglycerides, These tryglycerides, in conjunction with vitamins and various fatty acids, work to lock in moisture and reinforce your skins natural hydro-lipid barrier. Who We Are

Hi, we’re Skylee and Jaden! We’re fifth and sixth generation Montanans homesteading in the mountains of Northwest Montana. We’re passionate about regenerative agriculture and making a positive impact on our environment. We are thinning our forest to create silvopasture for our sheep, and using the timber we harvest from the land to build an off grid log cabin. We weren’t born into this life, in fact, we both grew up in normal suburban homes, but realized that is not the life we want for ourselves, or for our children. Although this life is not easy, it is certainly the most fulfilled either of us have been. We are doing our best to live the most healthy, and natural lives possible. We have discovered that this goal is not as easy as we think it should be. That’s why we started this company; to provide all natural, limited ingredient skincare products to those who care about what they put on their skin.

Most companies use fragrances to scent their soap. These fragrances can contain a number of chemicals such as phthalates and even formaldehyde which may cause a plethora of health issues. Artificial Fragrances

Such as petroleum based dyes and mica powders are commonly used in the skincare industry to color products. Mica powders contain compounds such as titanium dioxide, and iron oxide. Although the risk of cancer from these compounds are low, why put these on your skin when better alternatives exist.
